Benn Malmanger is the business manager at Camp Chetek. Benn graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 2005. Benn and Stacy met while attending college at MBBC and both share a degree in biblical studies. The Lord brought them to the camp in the spring of 2007. They have three children who have loved growing up at camp. Other than spending many hours in front of a computer, Benn manages the camp stores, organizes the rental season, deals with a headache of insurance companies, heads up the fundraising for the camp, and is the ferrior and caretaker of the horses. His wife, Stacy, runs the very popular summer horse program at the camp.
Matthew Sheppard is the program director at Camp Chetek. Matt graduated from West Coast Baptist College in 2017 with a Church Ministries degree. He and his wife, Sammy, met while working at Camp Chetek in the summer of 2015. They have been married for 2 years and joined our staff in 2020. As the Program Director, Matthew spends his days planning and scheduling all of our events, calling and coordinating with vendors, and assisting PR in camp branding and summer themes. Sammy graduated from Maranatha Baptist University with a degree in Elementary Education and spends her days helping with the camp photography and branding, writing grants, and helping Matt with planning and management. They both have a passion for inner city ministries and are so excited to be here at Camp Chetek.
